The grown man that dropped from 3 poppie pods was obviously not in severe pain. For good pods that translates into 45mg morphine orally or less than 1/4 grain IV/IM (10-12mg).
As someone who routinely gets 20mg. morph in ER I can attest that the reaction(especially side effects) depend on how much pain you are in.
BTW, extraction of any sort on dried poppy pods is illegal; in the US. I guess eating them is OK.
I, personally think died poppy pods are UG:Y, but the flowersare beautiful.
