And, I would like to say one little thing --this is Chris.
While it is perfectly legal for us to ship from where we ship...emphasis on the WE there, without saying anything else. We do not maintain records of any orders, or customer information, in those, now two, locations. This is for the safety and security of the customer. That has a drawback to it. It does cause things to run a little slower than we would like at times....where there is a customer service issue. It also means that the order goes through an additional step BEFORE it gets to the central office in Europe. That means when someone needs to look something up...they must send an email to get the information. All of this takes time, and occassion creates a delay. We are sorry for that. But, just in case...and it is only a just in case...something should happen...we keep our records off site.
We have made arrangements with a 'friendly' country to locate certain operations in that country. Suffice it to say that it is legal, in some jurisdictions, to ship product FROM that country as long as no product is sold into the country to its citizens. While we are in the process of relocation to that country, our records will continue to be maintained in a seperate location. There is such a country where all electronic data is safe and secure from prying eyes. Many fortune 500 companies make use of the same procedure.
Sorry to be a little cryptic in this post but that is the best we can do without throwing the baby out in the wash.
We do thank each and everyone of our customers for their support. We will continue to work to improve as best we can given the conditions of our model, of which one aspect is the protection of the data. We hope you understand this, sorry for not pointing it out before but had real concerns about making it public. I think it is time that we make you aware.
We would also ask that you understand once the package has left our hands we no longer have any control over it.
