Since OPFL aren't specifying what sort they are, if anyone is still game to order those poppies, you can supposedly tell thebaine poppies from the other ones:

The capsule exudes white latex, which hardens into a resin. Larkin said the mutant poppy looks the same as a normal poppy except the latex is pink or red rather than white or cream.
No idea if this would have any use on dried pods like they're selling, or how hard it is to tell, but it's something.
