Every different classification of crime has a different statute of limitation and they vary from state to state. If she called in the script, but never picked it up, that will be a very tough case for the prosecutor to prove, in fact, almost impossible unless the phone lines at the pharmacy are recorded and her voice is sampled and matched by a professional expert witness during the investigation. The only other way to get convicted would be through an admission of guilt, which is why I say to just keep it on the down low, even amongst your friends, because one day they may get nabbed for doing something illegal and then sail you down the river in return for a lighter punishment for themselves. Because as of right now, it would appear that there is no physical evidence that can be used against her. But, once the word gets spread around among your friends, the state now has witnesses, even though their testimony is only hearsay and may not be admissable, there is always a chance that the judge will alow it and your friend will be busted. So tell her keep it quiet, for now and ever more. In fact, everyone that has read her story here on DB can be called as a witness to testify on behalf of the state against your friend. But, hopefully we won't be seeing each other in the court room. Can you say "ROAD TRIP"!
