The friend will have a problem eventually. Once this pharmacist and doctor start calling around to other pharmacies and they notify the police which the pharmacist is required to do, they will arrest her assuming she used her real name which most perps of this type of crime do. It's only a matter of time. If the state has a prescription monitoring database it will make the job that much easier. Local enforcement for this takes time. All you have to do is read your local police blotter in almost any city and you will see people charged with this all the time. They may not get the friend in this call in scheme but the poster clearly stated that the friend had done this before. But her action will definatly open an investigation. Where there's a paper trail "altering documents" using deception to obtain narcotics, forgery, impersonating a doctor do I need to go on? Most Counties or City's at a minimum have a narcotics unit with at least one person trained in this specific area of crime. The paperwork and legwork required for this arrest can be a pain however they will give that part to the new kid in the unit it's all part of OJT. I'd say within 90 days this person will in all likelyhood be arrested/ charged. Take care. Billylll
