Plain and simple you are not able to control yourself with regard to substance abuse. Three DUI's, you should have your licence suspended for 10+ years IMHO. Seems like this situation may be the bottoming out you need to get your life back on track. I certainly don't want to be on the road with you driving.
The cop that pulled you over may have just saved your life, or the lives of any one of us here on the board, not to mention your innocent children (the next time they could have been in the car). Time to stop the excuses and take a long look at yourself and the situation you are in and how you got there. It didn't happen over night, nor will/should it be easy for you to get out of it.
I'll be praying for those kids of yours. They are the true losers in this situation.
I have no tolerance for drunk drivers. They destroy entire families, often their own.

And I agree with you on the dd issue both as a MADD member and a mother of 2 sons who drive (17 & 20) I always tell them to be on the defensive....But, what we also must realize here, along with "bashing" the dd, what about the ones taking hydro? For me, I will not take ANY if I know that I have to drive, I would rather tolerate the pain for awhile. Then we have those who take more then prescribed (thats a tolerance issue, I am not bashing here) But before we judge here, its THE SAME THING!!!! for all of you sitting here juding this person for DD, think about what you have taken before you got behind the wheel. You can flame me all you want, but you know as well as I do, this is the truth! Hydro is a scheduled med for a reason! Anglwink
