By that logic, automobiles would be banned because too many people don't drive responsibly, like not drinking and driving, for example.
OP's will most likely be banned or severely restricted eventually. Face it. Better stock up now.
Its because congress wants to protect the profits of the U.S. drug companies first and foremost.
Secondly, yes this country is paranoid when it comes to drugs. We don't throw away 1 billion plus of our tax dollars yearly trying, vainly, to stop the flow of illegal drugs only to permit "legal," relatively easy ordering of many of the same scheduled drugs with a click of the mouse.
Its no accident that 60% of the people in U.S. jails are there on nonviolent drug offences. The whole drug policy in the U.S. BLOWS. So, dont blame this poor lady for the misguided no tolerance, treat all drug users as criminals, policy that is the real problem.
