Yeppers, There isn't anything I can really say to help you with your fear of what is about to happen except praying for help and guidence. It sounds like you realize that you have some addictive problems but as far as what happened my advice to you would be first do not say anything else about it to anyone x your attorney. You would be surprised how things come back to haunt you. Also, you could have confessed under extreme stress. I think if you can prove prescription bottles for the drugs at the time you go to trial, they won't be an issue. do you still have the bottle the xanax came in? If so, does it have your name on it? YOu said they sent it by mistake but if it prescribed to you, you need not worry. Keeping all meds in their bottles is a good idea, but I too have sometimes carried them out of them. Getting in a recovery program is a great idea. Your history validates the need not to drink or use controlled substances. I hope for your families sake you do not have to leave them and go to jail however please remember, your children will allways love their mommy and they will get through it better than you probably. I do not mean to sound negative, but I have alot of experiences with drug issues and the consequences around them. You are in my prayers, and I hope your attorney can help and if he/she does consider yourself lucky and get help so that there isn't a next time.
