It has been a very long time since I have posted but I just cannot hold my tongue on this one. You say you didn't think you were drunk? It doesn't matter. The fact is, you blew a .12. It doesn't matter if it was 2 hours after you drank or 4 hours. You were LEGALLY drunk. That is the fact.
I am sorry you feel you have been bashed here but people are only giving you their honest opinions. Did you really think that people were going to say it is ok what you did?
If Trampys post made you cry then there must be some truth in their post about you or it wouldn't have affected you. A few years ago I was hit by a drunk driver who didn't think he was drunk. He also blew a .12 and he slurred and stumbled. He wrapped my car and me around a telephone pole. He swore he wasn't drunk and screamed at me, as I sat there pinned in my car and bleeding that it was my fault. He wasn't drunk, he said. Never mind that he hit me going 45 in a 25mph zone, nevermind that I was severely injured, nevermind that he had a fifth of tequila opened in his car. He wasn't drunk, he said. Nevermind that he smelled of booze. He said he wasn't drunk.
