I DESPISE cops. Way too many get off on the power they have and enjoy being intimidating jerks. Why does it always seem the biggest asses you knew in high school, the biggest bullies who have little regard for other people's right became cops????
They all too often forget the responsibility the goes along with the power they have. They also forget that we all as taxpayers pay their salary.
Oh and to the person who suggested to refuse taking a breathalyzer test if you know you have been drinking. I dont know about your state, but New York has strict chemical test refusal laws that are basically equivalent to a DUI conviction (license suspension, fantastical insurance rates, fines, etc.). So, unless you know your really wasted, I would always recommend taking your chances. Your simple act of refusal is grounds for guilt.
