Yeppers, I do not think anyone here is bashing you but in fact they do care about you. I think you are very couragous for coming on here and posting your situation knowing in the back of your mind that some people would give you a stern reply, which in my opinion is good, and yes you are so lucky that you did not drop your phone or loose control of the car etc... and hurt anyone else cause that would be much worse. The only thing I have to diagree with is that when you said a lot of people have drank 2 or 3 drinks and driven, which is probably true I am not sure cause I cannot speak for anyone else but myself but if I had 2 or 3 drinks in a 5 hour period I sure as heck would feel buzzed cause I don't ever drink and if I had a hydro in my system along with the drinks in a 8 period I sure as heck would be feeling it, only cause I have a low tolerance. When I was taking fioicet a couple years ago I remember having dinner at home and I had taken one then 3 hours later drank 2 glasses of wine and I was flying on could 9 cause I was really buzzed. Anyway, I have children to and I can relate to the being at home 24/7 I am only 28 and I have basically missed out on my single days. But just remember if you are going to drink DO NOT take any meds and if you are going to take meds DO NOT drink, I think that it can be very bad for your health making your liver even worse, I am not sure. And I do not think that having dental work done and having the alcohol stuck in your dental work would really make a difference but I am not an expert. Just please get a good lawyer and keep us posted on how everything does, did you already write a written statement?? What does your hubby think about this?? when is your court date??
