The assisted recovery program prior to court is an excellent suggestion as it will show the court you are serious.
I just think it is really important to say that this may not be the end of the road for you. I have a friend caught RED HANDED with benzos, was drunk, had crashed his car once, and was driving on broken wheels through town a second time.
The police even took his blood one the second arrest.
Long story short, both cases dismissed due to improper search and seizure. I could find no error, but a good attorney will.
