i was arrested in 99 in vegas for poss of controlled substance and dui. i was offered drug court for one year and was drug tested 3 times weekly, if you test dirty you go to jail for 10 days at a time. if you dont strictly comply with the court and you go before the judge once a week he will send you to prison. i tested dirty the first week and that judge reamed me a new you know what and never tested dirty again. drug court is a gift because if you complete this program you have a case sealed and dismissed with no felony. it was a difficult program to complete but worth it. it changed my life and gave me a new start. they require counseling and court appearances every week but in the long run i am not a felon and i am forever grateful. just my experience. also you are charged according to income.
