This happens to me with IV Phenergan. Not pill or IM only IV. I have been told it is called a paradoxal(sp) effect. Most Dr's and hospitals know that the fix for these feelings is a shot of benadryl. It is not a true allergy but rather a reaction or side effect. I agree it is a very awful feeling. I list it as an allergy and if ever questioned I then explain.
