Flaming/Flame Wars
Flaming is reacting to someone's board posting or PM in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)

Re: Anyone have experience with Reglan?

Old thread but I thought I'd revive it for the heck of it.

Similar reaction here. The 'anxious' reaction is not a "true" allergy but who really cares, it's not something you want to take either way. I have it written as "allergy" in my charts just to make sure some some smart arse doc doesn't try to get cute and give me anything similar. I tend to do my own homework though; sadly, the patient often does.

Actually if you have problems with Reglan, Compazine will likely do the same, and vice versa. Just a word of warning to anyone who's attention I have here.

Reglan gives me horrible dystonic reactions, looks and feels like I am possessed. I can describe it as being hell quite rightly.
This is not all that uncommon with Dopamine receptor blocking agents - including the phenothiazines (Compazine, Thorazine etc), also Hadol and especially Reglan for some reason. IMO this is bad stuff. Chemically this stuff is hideous.

Zofran is a miracle and the drug of choice for my nausea. It's ungodly expensive (thank GOD for insurance, it's about $35 per dose or something absurd like that) but well worth it; I refuse pretty much all other antiemetics.

My $.02 anyway.
