I can't believe my eyes! Thanks Stella for reviving this old post! I have always thought that I was crazy because I have had this SAME EXACT REACTION to compazine and also a med called Droperadol (sounds like dro-pair-a-dol)! My husband was so scared and the doctor that gave me the meds thought that I was just trying to get narcotics(he told me in the beginning of the er visit that he doesn't do narcotics for migraines!!) so he discharged me and I was up all nite long feeling like I was going to either kill someone or kill myself!

I just can't believe that i'm not the only one! It makes me feel like a much saner person knowing that!! LOL So anyways I have to add my preference to anti-nausea meds! For the past 2yrs I have gotten shots when my migraines get really bad! The meds they give me are Dilaudid 2mg and Vistoril 75mg IM and they seem to work wonderfully!! I love this med I have never once gotten an upset stomach which is pretty good considering that the dose I get is pretty hefty for a lightweight like me!! Ok I will quit rambling now!!
