I always assumed it dissolved at a gradual steady rate.
So, using the 20mg as an example and assume it lasts 12 hours like the manufacturer claims, you would divide the 20mg by 12 hours and that would tell you how much drug you would be receiving every hour.

Where did you get the half now, half in six hour info?
