I had a simular problem. I had phlibitis, inflamation of a blood vessel in the hemmroid. He said he could lance it but 2 resons why he did not. It would ooze for many days and it would be painful to sit. I was a paramedic and I had to sit often. he proscibed hydro and a antibiotic cream with something like lidocain to numb the area. I do not now if an OP will proscribe because it is considered an acute problem. int he interm i would suggest warm sits baths and an anastic cream (forgive me of my spelling)
