big, my husband had hemorrhoidectomy many years ago - but they came back. Sometimes he gets very bad, painful flareups. We found both suppositories and cream that help - proctosedyl. They are available from clickdrugstore.com without prescription. And very inexpensive - about $5 for a tube of cream and $5 for 12 suppositories. Takes about 7-10 days to be shipped by usps. It was coming registered mail, but I think the last couple times we ordered, we did not have to go to PO to sign.
