My money is that it's naltrexone - its half-life in your body is a DAY, while naloxone's is only one hour. Nasty, huh?
The Oxycontin with naltrexone or naloxone was supposed to have come out a long time ago, but a lot of stuff has gone wrong since it was started. As reported on the board, Purdue lost their patent to Oxycontin and now it's a free-for-all: anybody can reverse-engineer a time-released oxycodone tablet and distribute it. Even if Purdue completes the project to include the opiate antagonist, someone might beat them to it or just swipe it.
By the way, if anyone knows who makes Oxycontin, please don't hesitate to correct me. The name "Purdue" reminds me of Indiana and chicken, not pharmaceuticals.
