"We are in the middle of our second year with many patients re-newing for the 3rd time and we are still growing. The entry process requires potential new patients to complete a Questionaire and then consult with a Patient Coordinator on our staff. At this point, if the program is appropriate, the fees are collected to pay for blood and urine tests, review by our psychologist and initial consult with one of our doctors.
When appropriate, patients receive a 6 month prescription for the meds they need to deal with their pain, up to the maximum levels allowed by law. Clients in remote areas of Alaska have made it through the entry process in less than 3 weeks. With our clinic in Dallas, TX local patients usually have lab results within 48 hours and get into the program quicker.
