Flaming/Flame Wars
Flaming is reacting to someone's board posting or PM in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)
I think you have hit the nail on the head. A lot of people want everything now and they do threaten chargebacks and negative feedback and god knows what else, just so they can have their very own needs met now . Ask the owner of any OP, you will find that there are a lot of entitled people out there who do think the world should stop because they said so.
These same people take the same drugs day after day, week after week. Have they not yet figured out to plan ahead? Or maybe if OP #1 didn't please them, they should switch to OP #2? There are a lot of victims in this OP world, and most are self-made. When things don't go their way, they say untrue, harmful, nasty things about others. That's how insecure and frightened people act: nasty, mean, vengeful, vindictive. These are the people who believe the only reason others are here is so they can "cater to their every need", as if they are somehow royalty, or above the rest of the population.
I'm surprised there aren't more blacklisted then there are. I guess money is what counts in this game.
For the record, I have never been shorted meds, kept on hold, denied good customer service, or been made to wait more than 2 days for my order. Then again, I also don't call 50 times a day, insist on a tracking number the second I hang up the phone, threaten charge-backs for not being put at the head of the line, etc.
I've said it many times on this board, and I agree with you: people do not get this worked up about their dog food order coming from PetsMart, nor do they wait until Rover keels over from malnutrition before they remember to go out and get some food for him.
