Just FYI, I haven't had any problems with getting strong pain meds like Percocet 10 mg for dental pain in the ER on weekends. I have had an abcessed tooth before and the dentist only gave me 5 mg hydro that wasn't cutting it, so I took the bottle and went to the ER and had a very understanding doctor who immediately helped me. As a matter of fact, I have had to call my dentist after hours a few times, for myself and my son, and they have had to send us to the ER for pain. Also, I am being treated by an OP for TMJ pain. You shouldn't have a problem, pain is pain. Good luck!
