Since the active ingredient is hydrocodone (cough suppressant) you could achieve relief taking it in pill form, and if that was not enough add some generic benadryl-it is also a cough suppressant and maybe some generic sudafed.
Just a thought. If cost isn't a concern the Tussionex would do fine. So would the Hycodan. I guess it is a matter of preference.
