He was bruised on his legs, I wonder if he got knocked down? Who rides a bike here? If you are hit enough to bruise your legs, what would the likelyhood be that you would be knocked down?

My eyes are closed as I type, and I am picturing my self picking up meds at the drive thru at walgreens here. There are two lanes, close and far. I always pick close because most people do - hard to hear and do that vaccuum thing. If I am sitting there - even if I pull up a few car lengths... I will still be next to the building on the side of my window.
For a cop to pull in there with his motorcycle it would be hard, it would place him in a a non safe position, usually they leave themselves with an out, and they said she was trying to get away not smush him into the building.
If you think about the picture carefully it is hard to understand.
