In motor vechicle stops, yes, but that's not what this was. This could be a small town that doesn't have Vice. Generally Vice is the ones that handle stuff like that, but if it's a small town then I could see it being a uniform responding.

Although, in looking up Chandler, AZ it's really not all that small...198,840 residents.

Seems they have a Narcotics Unit and Daniel Lovelace is a Traffic Cop.......still just kinda odd to me. ::shrug::
