I believe Pharm D.'s do and like a previous poster stated, more and more are becoming Pharm D's. Lots of times when I see my local doc he has to look up the drug in the PDR. I knnow he had prescribed my husband a drug with a potentially dangerous interaction and got a call from the pharmacist about it. Same doc didn't know what Norco even was. Yup, I trust my pharmacist when it comes to meds over my doctor any day.
