Hi, I'm new and just starting to post. I'm really learning so much from this board, and am so happy to hear that others are experiencing similar things to what I am going through. It helps not to fell so alone.
Imzchef, because my doctors have "decided for me" that I don't need pain medicine any more, I too have had to go around them (I purchased online for the first time this weekend). I have expressed my pain over and over to my docs, and have been told "You should be fine now." Oh really? What a joke. The worst part for me so far has been cost. Do you know how much I paid at Walgreens for a month worth of Vicodin ES? With my insurance, $1.00. I am not kidding!! I paid once with quarters!! So its pretty rough to pay 20000% more over the net!!
I can only be hopefully that doctor's understanding of pain management will some day take a turn for the better.
