I suspect that the nausea associated with the Ibuprofen is what you are experiencing. It as a VERY common GI side effect. This was the reason that celebrex, and vioxx instantly became a HUGE hit with the medical community. Less potential GI side effects.
That is WHY VICOPROFEN is NOT is a good LONG TERM treatment for pain. It Should only be used for 10 days or less. If you don't believe or trust me, check the PRESCRIBING info in the PDR. Be Carefull if a prescribing doc gives it for longer than 10 days because of the potential adverse affects associated with GI and kidneys (LONG TERM chronic NSAID use has in a small number of cases been associated with a disease condition called NSAID NEPHROPATHY).
NSAIDS have a much GREATER side effect profile than does acetomenaphen. That is why APAP is so mcu more commonly used in hospitals and the medical community.
