While you have a point, if you don't give out information, how can a person make an intelligent response to yoou statement or question?

Simply saying 'i take pain killers' is not always sufficent. And we also live in the information age with a political and law enforcement climate that has no problems finding out who you are.

I have to laugh at those programs that promise to erase all 'interenet tracks'. All someone with the pull has to do is subpoena DB's records and find out who your server is and then subpoena the server. Or just make a few 'comments'. It is widely acknowledged that LE monitors this board. There are countless other , much scarier ways that the government keeps tabs on you these days.

I had a girlfriend bet me that she could call this friend of hers that ran background checks for her get my social security number simply based on my name (I can't remember if i included my middle name).. I have a VERY common First and last name and my middle name combined with just my first name is a VERY famous name. It took her friend only two tries to find my social security number. And this was in 1997 or 98.

I am not trying to be impolite and I want you to only give out what you feel comfortable with. That is good thinking on your part.

But I don't think that i make any incriminating posts. But I feel I need to supply certain personal information for someone to post me an intelligent answer.

You can access all my posts by clicking on my name and going from there. . I live near Dallas, Texas. So do about 4 million or more people in the area. And this does not cout Dalla' sister city of Fort Worth which has at least another million people.

So I say this with respect 'if they want you they can get you'.

Life is hard enough without looking over my shoulder. And if I did think that i was going to be visited by the dread MIB, then I would not post or view this site.

One last thing about my threads. I try to make people think outside the box and about other topics than where can I buy the cheapest hydro or the best OP. Plenty of threads out there like that.
