By old I meant pharmo has come a long way since Valium. Now there isn't the long-term lethargy with the newer benzos. Not as many side-effects, but I can only speak to what I know. You may be able to take as little as a 1/4mg before bedtime and sleep like a baby and you won't feel it in the morning. Exercise, cutting caffeine, finding a good herbal tea--all great advice.
