Newbie needs some help w/ AAAmedsworldwide please!

Hello all!
I did a lot of research on this board and finally decided last night to order from AAAmedsworldwide because they had a lot of excellent feedback. Also I am merely looking for propoxy which doesn't seem to be very easy to find!

Well, i filled out all of the online form requesting the doc consult last night, was given an order number. Today I thought maybe i would recieve an email or something but never did. Finally i went back to the site and read that after you fill out the request you call in for the consult. At least that is what I understood.

So i called customer service and waited and waited and finally hung up. Then i just called the doctor consult number direct and spoke w/ a woman i had a hard time understanding. Finally she put the doctor on and he said he would have to transfer me to customer service and they would transfer me back to him. Again waited and waited on hold, finally a ringing sound, and click, got cut off! So again i call customer service back and wait about 20 minutes.

Finally the person i spoke to was able to see all of the information i put through on the consult form, but said I didn't click all the way through the website and I would have to redo the entire order and then call back. Woohooo! just what i wanted to hear. She deleted all of the original info. So i go back to the site and once again order the consult and put in all info, and once again recieve yet another customer number AND made sure to click all the way through the website, which i really believe I had done before. So i call customer service back again and this time wait almost an hour.

Finally speak with someone and guess what, same problem, which i still do not understand. She put me on hold again, then came on and we went over the whole online form again and she typed everything in. Put me on hold again, came back on and says for some reason it isn't working and the website just went down. They had this problem with one other person today but had sucessfully been able to schedule everyone else's consult. She said they would have to wait until the website came back up and then try to fix this for me as it is going to have to be redone again. I told her i've spent almost 2 hours on hold already today. She was very nice and told me she would call me back today. I also got her name.

In the middle of all this I pm'd the man, barry, that you all speak of. I did hear back from him but he said he couldn't find that number in their system (which at that point would have been the first number that they already deleted)

I have no idea what is going on or what I am supposed to do. I am getting nervous and just want to get this over with. I thought it was going to be very easy from reading all of the posts about this site and now i am so confused I have NO IDEA whatsoever what is going on. Can anyone help me at all???? Now i think since they are on Eastern Time they are probably already closed for the day even??

Hmmph, that is weird. Meds123 http://www.meds123.com is the same company, but they haven't changed the webpage yet. Maybe you could try using that as there's really nothing to click after you fill out the forms? I dunno, I'm sure they'll resolve it though, it sounds like just bad luck of the draw.

I seriously doubt youll be getting a call from them today. AAAMWW is a great company however as I have stated in many other posts their customer service is horrible unless you deal with Barry himself. My long distance bill alone for calls to them is over $500 the past 9 months. They will take care of you though and its just unfortunate this rare instance of their system going down happened to you, hang in there~

Well, the girl that I spoke with did indeed call me back while ago. She said there is some major problem with the site having to do with a special for new customers, which i don't know anything about. She said there has been about 15 other people they've been unable to process. She said they couldn't do anything for me until it was fixed, hopefully tomorrow or the next day. She asked me to just try and call back tomorrow. Wrong! I asked her if there was anyway she could call me when they get the problem fixed since i've been cut off so many times after waiting on hold for a long time. She took my number again and said she would leave a note to herself on her desk and she would call me. I really hope she does. I hate flopping around and not knowing what I am really supposed to be doing.

I guess since this is the first attempt I've ever made at this it is bothering me. I can't get over the nervous feeling like I'm doing something wrong now. When I first submitted the information I had the attitude that I was going to take my life and my pain into my own hands and that there wasn't anything wrong with that. Now I'm just a bit upset.

Don't be upset. They are a good company. Seriously, if Barry can't help at this point then there really is a problem with the site. I would give them a try tomorrow and see if they got things fixed. Their customer service is definitly lacking big time. But Barry is awesome. I have used this company before and never had any problems. And you know how computers can be sometimes. And keep the attitude you started out with when you first began, things will be fine.

How do you know if you prescription was sent do you get a tracking number?

I also use this site and for Propoxy too! Along with some other meds I need. Their service has been awesome, although I have yet to have the need to call since I had my consult!
I'm sure this will get cleared up and you'll be taken care of, please don't feel as if you're doin anything wrong, we are all here because of the exact same need you have and that is to take our care into our own hands because the mediacl profession leaves us lacking a pain free life! We are not addicts or drug seekers ...well at least that is not my impression of most posters here and I apply that to myself!
Hang in there with this OP and I'm sure you'll be happy once this oddball problem is cleared up!
Thay have been very efficient and on time with my meds!
