"First of all I would like to welcome you to DB! You have chosen the best and most reliable source on the Internet for information on buying prescription medications online. The members here are very friendly and most are very knowledgeable. None of us claim to be doctors, but some of us do have some very helpful information and tips and have been ordering prescription medications online for years.
I can't stress enough the importance of reading the boards - you can spend days reading and learning. I really do recommend becoming a VIP, it's well worth the money and there is a lot more detailed information plus numerous and valuable discounts available to VIP's only, not to mention it keeps the Free Board running! Start with the rules and regulations so you know how the board works and the rules of posting. Make a test post in the Testing Forum and set up your personal preferences as far as how you view the board, etc. After that introduce yourself in the Meeting Forum, tell us a little bit about yourself and allow other members to "welcome you aboard." The next step I would recommend would be check out the Black List, US and International. Stay away from all of these online pharmacies and my advice is to steer clear of e-mail sources. It's interesting to read the E-Mail Forum , but it's usually a rip-off and a waste of time and money. There are members who claim to have success with e-mail sources but in my opinion it's safer to stick with established OP's that have good feedback.
If you have a particular medical condition, you could start in the Meds/Medical Conditions Forum and see what other people have to say about what medications they have used and what OP's they have ordered from. Once you get an idea of what type of medication you are looking for, you can check out the Who Offers It/How Much and Updates Forums to see what OP's carry that medication, the cost, etc. At that point you should have an idea of what OP you might be interested in ordering from (US or International) and you can go to the General Questions/Comments and Feedback Forums and read what other people have to say about their ordering experiences from that particular OP. 9 times out of 10 you can use the SEARCH function and find the answer to all of your questions. The Feedback Forum is ONLY for posting your personal experience once you have ordered and received medication from that OP. Also, most members don't mind PM's (personal messages), just remember to say thank you and be polite when you receive a response from another member.
Most OP's require medical records of some kind – some extensive, some very basic and others that don't require medical records at all but instead require you to fill out an extensive online questionnaire. Some OP's require you to speak to a physician on the telephone and others require a Port-O-Medic (usually a nurse) to come to your home. So, as you can see, there is a lot of research to be done before making your decision. It's natural to be apprehensive when ordering for your first time; it helps to read about other's experiences. If possible, it’s important for the doctor to know that you have taken a particular medication in the past and don’t have any allergic reactions to that particular medication – it makes their job easier as far as writing a prescription for you.
I notice a lot of people ask if you can purchase Oxycontin, Percodan or Demerol online – the answer to that is NO. You won’t find any online pharmacies that have Schedule II medications – if they claim to they aren’t for real. The two most common pain medications are Codeine and Hydrocodone (Vicodin.) Codeine is typically combined with Acetaminophen (Tylenol/APAP) or Ibuprofen. On the Free Board there is the Who Offers It With Updates Forum that lists several different medications – where they can be found and what they cost, etc. That’s a good place to start. Hydrocodone is probably the most popular pain medication, available only from US OP’s. Hydrocodone comes in several different strengths and is typically combined with Acetaminophen (Tylenol/APAP.) Hydrocodone is available in 5/500 (5 mg. of hydrocodone and 500 mg. of APAP), 7/750 (Vicodin ES), 10/325 (referred to as Norco), 10/500 (Lortab) and 10/650 (Lorcet.) There is also Vicoprofen, which is Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen. Many sites will give you a choice of ordering name brand or generic drugs. There are many, many generics of hydrocodone available – Qualitest, Able, Watson, Vintage, and Mallinckrodt to name a few. There is an ongoing debate on the boards over what generic is the best.
In addition to pain medications, you will find muscle relaxers, anxiety medications, cold and flu medications and much more. Make sure and read the OP website over very carefully. What you are looking for is what medications they have available and their prices, what they require for medical records and if a consultation with a doctor is necessary and what the cost will be for that consult – how long is the consult good for? Some websites consider the online questionnaire a “consult” so it can get confusing, that’s when it’s time to read up on the boards. Also look for shipping charges, if refills will be provided and what methods of payment they accept. Most OP’s accept all major credit cards but no personal checks. There are a couple that accept COD as payment. Before ordering from any OP check the Feedback Forum!!
I hope this helps answer some of your questions. Enjoy your visit with DB!"
