Can you tell me how I go about getting my records?
Without knowing what your problem/condition is: Have you had an MRI or X-rays? If yes, then there should be a copy of the Lab Results, i.e., radiologist's report from where those tests were read. Many times the hospital or radiology facility where you had the tests taken will have them. Also, your doctor should have a copy of the test results. If nothing else, call the doctor who prescribed the tests and ask for a copy of the radiology report. You also can simply ask your doctor for a copy of your medical records... and you can just tell them it is for personal reasons, that you want to keep a copy of them on hand .. and that's only if they ask you why you would want a copy. They may not even ask. You have a right to a copy of your medical records. Also, from what I've read here and from my own recent personal experience with finally going with a Records OP, they don't require you to fax in a bookload of information. The Records OP I just went with is ExpressReliefServices.com I was very happy with their customer service... they give 2 refills. And I believe that right now, if you are a VIP member, you get your first month of 10/325 generic norco's free. I saw that posted on the VIP board today. That's just a suggestion... there are other Record OP's that come very highly recommended, such as the YOD suggested above.
