LOL
Yea, the long losted methaqualone, took it a few times, but they were called "Mandrax", found myself bumping into walls and the slurred speech that came along with it. It's too bad, I've heard that they are not manufactured anywhere, But I think someone did mention (a while back) they are still manufactured and prescribed in Sweden, and they go by a different brand, (can't remember what they call there). But I'm not 100% sure. It's too bad, cuz they were the best when you needed sleep and relaxation. It's the same story with all the older sleep meds like Placidyl, Seconal, Nembutal, Valmid, Doriden. When the benzos and Ambien came on the scene, most of the older sleeping meds weren't profitable to make anymore, so slowly they were phased-out. I had a script for Chloral Hydrate and couldn't a pharmacy that had it or could special-order it for me. Say bye-bye, cuz Ambien in town and it's here to stay, and get ready to pay alot money just so we can relax our muscles and get a(something most of us take granted for) good night's sleep.

I've dreamt of things that never were, and say "WHY NOT"!!
