...You could pay for your initial consultation, receive #120 10/325's, get the consultation you are paying for, and get 2 refills - from almost any legitimate OP (YOD, EVMG, AAAMWW) -
It is NOT HARD to get your medical records. It can be done in one afternoon, a few hours of your time. If you have ANY need for pain medicine whatsoever, you CAN get records. I think some people think that dealing with the 'records-requiring/telephone consult OP's would be just as much of a pain/hassle as seeing a local doctor and trying to receive medications to properly treat your pain. This is NOT the case. These doctors working for the OP's are trained in pain medicine and are there to prescribe pain medication. They are not hard people to deal with. They simply ask that you can provide at least ONE single solitary page of information indicating that you have had a full physical and diagnosis or re-diagnosis of your painful condition within the last year. That is NOT hard to acquire. If you have back pain - go to a walk-in and complain of it. Even if they do not prescribe anything for pain - you can walk out with a page of records (your Superbill) - indicating that you HAVE been examined by a doc and your pain condition has been examined or re-diagnosed.
THANK YOU for the informative information. I do appreciate it. I am going to go to a local walk in clinic (Saturday if I receive my needed answers) and be seen for migraines and carpal tunnel pain. My past experiences with these "walk-in emergency rooms" are that it is "hit or miss" if they even prescribe something like tylenol 3 (qty 20 or so). I've had some just give me a script for 800mg of motrin before.
My question is that from my previous history and knowledge, I know that I prefer LT 10-500's or Vic 7.5 750's. I thought I read somewhere that YOD wants to see something that you have been prescribed a particular medication previously before they will fill a script for the requested meds. Is that necessarily true or can I (or should I) request the medication I want during the consult with YOD. I'm hoping that the one or two page summary information that I get from the walk in clinic will suffice for records.
Sorry, but I'm getting nervous and don't want to throw away a Benjamin Franklin at the walkin clinic and not have what i need for YOD and I also don't want to go to the walkin clinic if this will be a "Pie in the Sky" shot in the dark. Most importantly, I'm sick and tired of being yanked and cranked by buymeds and tropical and I need to find a "real" op.
Thank you all for the very much need help. Any pointers or guidance would be great - (as it always is here on DB)
