You could pay for your initial consultation, receive #120 10/325's, get the consultation you are paying for, and get 2 refills - from almost any legitimate OP (YOD, EVMG, AAAMWW) -
Twice as many meds, with 2 refills that would be even cheaper - (at YOD, the cost of #120 10/325 is $87.80 !!)
Not to mention that using a site such as YOD guarantees that what you are doing is 'above the law' - so you don't have to worry about waking up one day and the site being gone from the face of the Earth, or having changed all their policies, or etc.etc.....
It is NOT HARD to get your medical records. It can be done in one afternoon, a few hours of your time. If you have ANY need for pain medicine whatsoever, you CAN get records. I think some people think that dealing with the 'records-requiring/telephone consult OP's would be just as much of a pain/hassle as seeing a local doctor and trying to receive medications to properly treat your pain. This is NOT the case. These doctors working for the OP's are trained in pain medicine and are there to prescribe pain medication. They are not hard people to deal with. They simply ask that you can provide at least ONE single solitary page of information indicating that you have had a full physical and diagnosis or re-diagnosis of your painful condition within the last year. That is NOT hard to acquire. If you have back pain - go to a walk-in and complain of it. Even if they do not prescribe anything for pain - you can walk out with a page of records (your Superbill) - indicating that you HAVE been examined by a doc and your pain condition has been examined or re-diagnosed. They are not asking for your life history at the legit OP's. I think people think it is more complicated than it really is.
My suggestion to ALL people using these types of places is to get medical records SOON because you will soon all be finding that you cannot receive your medications anymore, and from the places that you still CAN, you will be paying 3-4x what a normal OP charges. If you are filthy rich, then I guess it is not a concern.....
I am NOT flaming - I just hate to see people throw $$ away over and over, when the answer to the question of how to NOT throw your money away is all over this board, a million times over.
