My husband and I both went to our family doctor when we started experiencing back pains. My husband had his problems first, related to working out. The doctor gave him Vioxx and told him to take tylenol. A few weeks later I decided to go in because my back pain was getting worse and the doctor ordered an MRI and presribed me 5 mg hydro to be refilled every 10 days as needed. Too bad 5 mg with 500mg APAP is not my cup of tea, but he seemed more concerned with my pain than my husband's. I guess that's not too commonplace today.
