Exactly... as I was saying before, most mail is processed automatically by computer. Something like 90-95% of mail in the US is computer sorted. When going through customs there is more inspection by humans, but still, its a pretty small percentage of the whole. They'll randomly pick a mail cart every now and then and run them through an X-ray scanner similar to at airport security, and also some are openned and inspected by hand without an X-ray. Planes of mail coming in from some countries will get more random inspections than others. The majority of mail coming from overseas though is just dumped from the planes mail carts into a chute that feeds into the computer sorting machines and no actual human looks at them until its being sorted for delivery to your home. So as long as a package is of normal size (manilla envelope, small box, etc) it will never be looked at by customs unless its got the bad luck of landing in a random inspection basket. Even most large packages, Customs just doesnt have the time to inspect them all. This has been all over the news since 9/11... the volume of incoming mail and commercial shipping is thousands of times what Customs can inspect.

So, little variations like putting pills in a CD case or taped in a birthday card or put in bags labelled aspirin... that makes little to no difference. A vendor changing how they package stuff isnt going to reduce the risk of random checks, nor will it increase the risk. The only thing a vendor can do to change risk levels is to reship through a less suspicious country like in Europe or Australia, rather than shipping from countries like the Philipenes or Pakistan.

Best way to reduce seizures is to not order from high risk countries (at least not often). Also, to reduce risk of things other than seizures... dont keep a bunch of illegal items around the home, dont order bulk, and dont sign for packages that contain controlled medications. Perhaps this is paranoia, but based on what I've read on Customs/DEA/FDA websites and media articles about various law enforcement operations, seems like those are wise steps... better safe than sorry.

And most important of all... DONT TAKE WHAT YOU READ ON FORUMS AS SOLID INFO!!! Things like DB are great for some things, but you really have to go to the primary sources and research the way the system works. Educate yourself, decide what risk levels youre comfortable with, and base your decisions on what you get from reading this info.
