Here's the issue with Customs confiscating overseas orders:
Anyone can set up a web site offering prescription drugs by mail from overseas.
Even people who don't have our best interest in mind.
They send you something that appears to be the drug you ordered, but its something entirely different.
Ricin, Anthrax, Cyanide - who knows?
And you take the drug in good faith not knowing what it is.
The above scenario is unlikely, but think of the possibility that someone with bad intentions could easily kill hundreds or even thousands of people by setting up an operations like this.
And many of you would be the first to whine about "why didn't our Government prevent this from happening" if it actually did.
