Get this my local pharmacy was bought by walgreens.I have been getting scripts for 20 somas for maybe eight years. I just call them in and the pharmacy calls my PCP. Sometimes he gives me a refill or two,sometimes not.I never get much more than five scripts a year,if that.Last Thursday I call walgreens and ask them to fax a script to my PCP. The lady says your last refil was in 12-03, we can not fill that you need to see him. I told her I had a refill on this script, and I used it last summer. She informed me it was not in the computer. She faxed it anyway and I picked it up on Monday. While paying my five dollars the woman told I can not do this again I must see my PCP and get a written script. I told her I have seen him in the last year but he prefers to just have me call it in as I need it.She said that was just not going to work anymore. What the @$%^^@# is going on in this world?
