This scenario sounds SO familiar. The Pain Clinic Dr. I saw put me on everything BUT pain medications. He gave me Zoloft - an antidepressant, which gave me severe anxiety attacks. I was on Celebrex - which made me vomit so severely I ruptured a blood vessel in my throat. His idea of addressing the pain was to give me MORE injections and take Advil. Had I not been in such God awful pain, I would have NEVER subjected myself to those needles every week in the hope that they would eventually work. I got worse, was in agony, and when I begged him for pain medication, that scum told me I only went to him to get DRUGS!! That is when I went for him big time. You got to be kidding me!! Only a masochistic idiot would go through all that to get pain meds!! Had that been my motive, I really would need to have my head examined - for mental illness.
It is criminal what a lot of these outfits get away with and pass themselves off as doctors treating pain. In my estimation, they were doctors that CAUSED PAIN!! But until they are flushed out to what they are all about, they will continue to torture helpless patients....MAN this gets me all worked up all over again, even after all these years.
