I have recently tried valium because I did not like the effects of the other meds. I bought these through an IOP and lo and behold the test came out positive--for Valium.
My bet is that the employer was just calling any positive benzo test positive for valium. A 5 or 10 panel test cannot pick out specific benzos, but will register positive for the whole family... more than 10 of them.
