I was fired from a job over 14 yrs ago over ONE valium I'd taken over a week b4 I was tested. I took it so I could get some sleep because my gall bladder was KILLING me. I wound up in the hospital the next day. I spent a week in the hosp.,and when I came out,I was drug tested. They seemed to know exactly what I'd taken-they said I had "generic valium" in my system.
I thought that one of 2 things may have happened,because I never took valium on a reg. basis. Either my crazy vindictive room mate ratted me out(quite possible,she really was insane) or the hospital had given me valium while I was there(I remember having trouble sleeping,and they DID give me something)
Had I known valium stayed in one's system for so long,I never would have taken it.
NOW-about the opiates test-I recently submitted to a drug screen for my new pain mgmnt dr,and he was able to differentiate the hydro from the morphine I was taking.I found that to be really odd,and totally "Big Brotherish" It's really spooky how your p*ss isnt even safe anymore
