Once a malpractice attorney looks at your case,he will determine if first,you have a good enough case and second if he can win enough to cover the cost of trying the case, his take and what you will eventually recover in the end. Malpractice cases can be very expensive to try. Especially if they have to call in expert witnesses and such. I learned this when a work doc gave me a shot of cortisone in my elbow in the wrong area and it ate away the whole fat pad and left me with nothing but bone. I wound up having to have surgery and the radial head removed and lost 30% use of my right arm.
