Nope. Buprenex is still indicated for pain. It only comes in injectable form. All forms are changed to a C-III now and i don't know of any U.S. OPs that will prescribe injectable pain killers. Bupe scrips of any sort get special scrutiny because of its now FDA-approved indication for drug detox and the need for the prescribing doctors to go to "Bupe School." The high-dose new sublinguals can only be prescribed for drug detox. Any doctor willing to take the heat who is in good standing with the DEA and their state licensing board can write a pain scrip for Buprenex. The pharmacies will probably report it if they do.
