Yawkaw, I know I was overly harsh last time I brought this up and I apologize, but you really need to understand the true degree of this crisis for people that are being pre-judged, and certainly other reasons as well. There is absolutely no way you can discern by a post, no matter how the post is constructed or how you perceive the person, to determine just what step in the process and how diligent they've been. It pains me (no pun) to see people on a board that is very much about pain issues, be snubbed to a degree by your assumptions. Good info included certainly, but you do understand how limited some folks are I would hope. I must ask, do you really feel that there is no possible combination of health circumstances and physician perception or philosiphy that can leave an individual completely isolated from the treatment they need for vary degrees of re-mobility, even though they've gone par and BEYOND in their efforts ?
I'm not sure I'm following what you're saying, sonick. I wasn't making a blanket statement about OP's (and in my post I said I used them too, it doesn't make someone a victim to use them), I was talking about redhill exclusively.
His post gave me the impression that his pain was adequately or near-adequately treated, and his only problem was his PCP who made two comments about him being a drugseeker. That's why I suggested he have it removed. If he was getting good care before, why go the OP route? It just seems to me that he owes it to himself to at least try to get it removed, no?
What do you mean by "It pains me (no pun) to see people on a board that is very much about pain issues, be snubbed to a degree by your assumptions." I don't know how I've done this or why you perceive it that way, I was just trying to help the guy out.
I specifically said in my post that I did not want to get into any discussion about people using OP's as victims because I don't see it that way, I use them myself, etc. I just thought in his case, he already had a good thing going, all he has to do is get this removed from his records.

I believe there are plenty of cases where OP's are the right way to go, and it is unfortunate that it even has to come that, but it does. I don't believe I've said anything to the contrary, and if I implied it, I really didn't mean it like that. I was JUST referring to HIS SPECIFIC case.
I gotta kindly ask you to take this to a PM because it's going to sidetrack the thread, and I don't see the purpose in getting into an argument about this with you, as I'm not even sure what we're arguing. Believe me, it is nothing personal.
