No I didn't take that as a personal insult in any way. So please, no worries. As for the weight, it is as real as the pain, so I am doing what I can to get it off.
On a related note, my PM doctor gave me more effective pain meds. As a result, I am up and about (though not out working yet today), and out of bed, relatively pain-free. Just being up before 9 am is making me feel more energized and optimistic, and I hope being medicated for the duration may just get my life jumpstarted.
