I would like to add that a textbook-diligent and procedurally moderate approach, AKA honesty, combined with valid need and years of prior measures including central causative treatment, does NOT guarantee that the issue of being un/undertreated will disappear. I know, personally.
Why do I know ? Because I've done it all properly, and I'm still outcast due to my apperance. Yep. I look like someone you don't treat, no matter how disarming it is to find out my true character. I have no choice but to pursue this OP system, and it is not only inadequate, but is not a viable long-term plan due to additive compounds at every interval. APAP/whatever. Yawkaw, I know I was overly harsh last time I brought this up and I apologize, but you really need to understand the true degree of this crisis for people that are being pre-judged, and certainly other reasons as well. There is absolutely no way you can discern by a post, no matter how the post is constructed or how you perceive the person, to determine just what step in the process and how diligent they've been. It pains me (no pun) to see people on a board that is very much about pain issues, be snubbed to a degree by your assumptions. Good info included certainly, but you do understand how limited some folks are I would hope. I must ask, do you really feel that there is no possible combination of health circumstances and physician perception or philosiphy that can leave an individual completely isolated from the treatment they need for vary degrees of re-mobility, even though they've gone par and BEYOND in their efforts ? There are several cases on this very board involving eloquent and honest folks that are completely stranded from the system, and that is unacceptable that they have not been taken care of.
