I am expecting a package from NWW today, so I called Fed Ex to see if I could get my meds early in the day, as opposed to later, because I'm gong out of town this afternoon, and they were so professional and courteous, I couldn't believe it!! The 1-800 guy I spoke to said he would put a note for the delivery person to get it to me ASAP. Then a guy from FedEx headquarters called and was so helpful about telling me where my package was and explaining that there was bad weather so it may have been rerouted, but it would get to me this morning. Where I live, most packages are delivered late in the afternoon. ANyway, they have it all over UPS. A couple of months ago, UPS was supposed to deliver me a package. When I checked the tracking, I saw it had been delivered and signed for by me, only I didn't get the package. WHen I called UPS, they told me to call back Monday morning and then they'd try to figure out what happened. Great, a whole weekened without any meds. Luckily, the person who actually signed for it, at a house about 4 miles away, realized that it was medication and brought it to me, but UPS stinks.

I agree! FedEx ships for NWW and I have never had a problem with them to date...and the delivery guy is always friendly to boot! I should probably knock on wood since I am expecting a delivery from them tomorrow (afternoon). I do know that they are flexible for their delivery times (I always request afternoon since a 9 am delivery would find me unconscious! ).

I used to love fed ex but now I have a new driver and he sucks!!! Last week I was due a refill and followed it along online on the way to my house and then right at 2:20 Pm (on a friday no less) it said delivery not attempted driver at hub. What the...??? I called fedex and they said "OH YEAH, drivers can only be on the road for 8and a half hrs a day so you will hopefully get it monday" Once again I said WHAT??? So long story short I had to go to the hub friday evening to get meds. I have never had this happen before.
Plus whenever I have to call fed ex to see about getting a package ASAP they say tuff. But when I call UPS they say no prob and I usually have the package within an hour.

That's so weird, it's totally reversed for me. Sory to hear your fed ex delivery went badly. That's not fair that you had to go get the package. I gotta say, though, fed ex delivered my package yesterday, first thing. Then the guy from their headquarters in Memphis called me back just to make sure my package had been delivered. Soooooo incredibly nice.

My Fed-Ex guy is getting to be a problem. I had a 2nd day package sent out and it is still not here...4 days later! When I track it, they say they tried to deliver it today...NOT! Now it is back at the hub. What is up with that?
